Fiparin is announcing the appointment of Mr. Matthijs Huisman as Deputy CEO of Fiparin and Managing Director, effective April 19, 2024.
He succeeds Mr. Alessandro Poeti-Marentini, who was Managing Director and is currently CEO at Igli United Kingdom.
Mr. Matthijs Huisman began his career in the company in 2007, serving as Assistant to the CEO (2007-8), Deputy Managing Director (2008-2016) and Acquisitions & Innovation Director (2016-2024). Mr. Huisman will continue to report to Max Vergara Poeti, Chief Executive Officer and Chairman of the Board of Fiparin.
A dual Dutch and Belgian national, Matthijs Huisman graduated from the Paris School of Business with an MBA with later studies at Stanford University.
